Fuck it/Enough is Enough

I said kill them all , no prisoners when they first started killing civilians. Someone smarter than me explained why they weren’t. Im still with you. Not sure if their mind has changed.
But the hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians killed in the US waged war against Iraq wasn't a problem?

I don't disagree that people are more likely to be empathetic towards others to whom they share a fellowship with vs those whom they do not. However in the scenario which you laid out, I don't believe that empathy is as much of a factor as the fellowship is.
The ticket scenario? I think a relationship is required for fellowship, no? Can you have fellowship with a stranger halfway around the world?

Sorry, I had you confused with someone else. This is the fact I wanted you to provide evidence for.
Oh, you just wanted evidence? You should have said so sooner. Here's some, now please send me a pic of your pasta monster that created the universe.

Absolutely. I have a fellowship with all IATSE members, by merit of my association. They work all over the world.

What exactly is it you think that's evidence for? @PJ Diaz
A war waged and supported by the Western World which went on for decades, killing hundreds of civilians by way of US actions, for which the Western World at large wasn't concerned about, hence the reason that it lasted for so long.

This discussion (in case you didn't notice) has turned into a concentration of race. People are saying that the western world only cares about Ukraine because they're white, all while completely ignoring the fact that the people of the west (and of Ukraine) are not solely white.
Right, that's your perception of it and I'm trying to explain how I don't think your binary perception is accurate. It looks like you're complaining about race sensitive while also being too race sensitive.

No. Just a long no to that one. You jumped into a discussion about race and tried to twist it into something else. That's your pony, not mine.

People you've never interreacted with in any way? I think that's just commonality. Anyway, we may be getting a bit too pedantic on this one.

I was posting in this thread on this very subject of race before you were. Go read the first page, you know...before you joined this forum. Well...before you created your current user anyway.

Yep, but this is a discussion that happened within the thread. Someone claimed that the west only cared about Ukraine because they were white. I came on to say that this was not the case. Then you arrive to call my view binary or whatever. Good stuff.

And FYI, the thread was born today.

Someone asked a question.

I know it was, yet I still posted these same thoughts before you were here, yet I "jumped in".
