EV prices will rise with the demand....I filled up last night before prices went up $1.77 CDN/ liter
This should help EV sales!
Well if ten dollar a gallon gas doesn't spur sales nothing will! Musk must be freaking out with joy.EV prices will rise with the demand....
Bombs are being dropped at will on his people, so I think we can forgive him for being a “bad sport”.Unfortunately for Volodymyr Zelenskyy he is being a bad sport by barking back at the only people that are helping.
DUMB ASSI don't know.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy isn't doing Ukraine any favors as of today by "Banging on Closed Doors."
He is lashing out at the USA for not providing a NFZ which would start WWIII and he is trying to bite the hand that feeds Ukraine by demanding planes.
As it turns out, the USA doesn't have the F16s to replace what Poland would lose at this time so the deal is not good for Poland.
I totally get it. If Poland gives it's planes away that opens their back side for Putin.
So no USA will not ship F16s to Ukraine. For one, Ukraine pilots are not trained to fly F16s and two, that would be the same as if the USA was fighting Russia.
Unfortunately for Volodymyr Zelenskyy he is being a bad sport by barking back at the only people that are helping.
The honest truth is Ukraine can put up a good fight but they are no match for the Russian Army.
USA President Biden today said correctly that Putin can take a city but he cannot hold the country.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy needs to be ready to form a government in exile.
Yes the distress and urgency is obvious however in diplomatic parlance having a tantrum is not helpful to his cause.Bombs are being dropped at will on his people, so I think we can forgive him for being a “bad sport”.
This is assuming that this is not a premeditated plan between the allies and Zelinskyy (or people leaking this information from inside the allies to blow up the deal in favor of Putin) in the first place though. I don't think that we can make that assumption.Yes the distress and urgency is obvious however in diplomatic parlance having a tantrum is not helpful to his cause.
After all, as much as anyone would like to see Ukraine keep it's independence there are limits to what can be done.
Lines that cannot be crossed.
Politically embarrassing allies is not a smart move.
Remember the MIGs are not a done deal and the allies may be posturing to save face at this point.
That is my point. Something to consider there friend.
there is......and just sometimes you have to read between the line to figure things out.....the deal is done.....now it's up to logistics.....and that's the hush partI'm trying to read the latest news on the state of the MIG transfers but it's very confusing.
There are overlapping stories of Ukraine gets the MIGs and stories where Ukraine doesn't get the MIGs. Then there are stories of how they already have more MIGs than pilots.
There is a confusing timeline to it all at the moment.
Well, as I noticed the "news reports" are very confusing on this issue right now. More confusing then I can remember any other story being. This is assuming that this is not a premeditated plan between the allies and Zelinskyy (or people leaking this information from inside the allies to blow up the deal in favor of Putin) in the first place though. That would seem to be the most logical outcome.there is......and just sometimes you have to read between the line to figure things out.....the deal is done.....now it's up to logistics.....and that's the hush part
The will she/won't she aspect of getting the jets is what happens when you get TMI reported in real time is my guess.Well, as I noticed the "news reports" are very confusing on this issue right now. More confusing then I can remember any other story being.
It's safe to say something is "Afoot" what it is ain't exactly clear but there is a man with a gun over there telling us we got to beware.
I think the catch is how to get them into Ukrainian hands so that they can deploy them without immediately having them blown up by the Russians. That would seem to be the most logical outcome.
The catch is can the USA deliver replacement planes. That I have not read as having happened.
Zelenskyy’s responsibilities begin and end with the people of Ukraine. I understand the dangerous implications of a NFZ but I also understand Zelenskyy’s frustration as he watches war crimes being committed against his people.Yes the distress and urgency is obvious however in diplomatic parlance having a tantrum is not helpful to his cause.

Least we forget Volodymyr Zelenskyy was also demanding a No Fly Zone by NATO which would bring us into the war and that isn't going to happen.
That is my point. Something to consider there friend.
If you have a need to nail me a cross here I will allow you your hammer.Zelenskyy’s responsibilities begin and end with the people of Ukraine. I understand the dangerous implications of a NFZ but I also understand Zelenskyy’s frustration as he watches war crimes being committed against his people.
His point of view is something you might want to consider before calling him a “poor sport”.
That wasn’t my intention, I thought we were having a discussion. If you have a need to nail me a cross here I will allow you your hammer.
