Im not sure if I got the same one, but it kind of sucks. There is a hard plastic edge at the base of the rubber tip that grinds my ear without the screw thing being deep enough to do much.

Also how deep is your ear canal? The one pictured looks as if it would do most jobs. Old men might need to shave their ears first though.
