I love those Wisps! They make a great Asiago and BBQ too! Have you seen these?

I try not to do starches/carbs but damn.

Grilled chicken marinated with yogurt and coated with whole spices (coriander and cumin). Pilaf with raisins and caramelized onions. Carrot salad spiked with Harissa.

Off topic slightly, but I hadn’t heard the word “bataka” in a few decades. I used to get my butt kicked in gladiator combat by older cousins who had those things at my aunt’s house. Great memories though, my aunt is super cool to this day. Never smoked one with her but we’ve put back some good vino over the years.
Same aunt had a set of the original lawn darts (the dangerous ones) and they had a Pong console.
I gotta figure out a good meal to make and post this weekend, we’ve been hitting takeout too hard lately.

I have a dozen brats on the smoker, figured I ought to cook the whole pack and be done with it. Sprinkled some Cajun spice on them for more flavor. Have to be careful with it, it is no joke hot.
Edit: Smoking with hickory and apple.
