Looked like biscuit dough both before and after. Tasted good also. I'd say it was a success.

Looks delicious...Haven't had sausage gravy and biscuits in a while. There's an American Legion near me that does did a monthly breakfast buffet and they make it good...Can't beat those deals, $6 for all you can eat or something like that.

Deluise also wrote a cook book if I remember correctly.

Yeah, I think you're right about Deluise's cookbook. I always have to do a double take when I see them too.
