Hey all,

Got three plants, with one (OG Kush Haze) having some issues. The other two (white Widow and GSC) looking fine. Same nutrients (Growdots), in 80/20 Coco/perlite, and on own watering schedule (using Autopots). The OG was doing great, until I did some prunning. I didn't think I was too aggressive with it, as I've seen others get much more rowdy with it than I. Having said that, I don't know what it could be. At first, I thought maybe a CalMag deficiency, but the signs are in the newer growth, as well. Maybe iron, IDK. Anyway, not sure there is a cure for this, at this stage. She's almost a week into flower. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

that looks like damage from a root issue to me. if you let coco dry out, it will damage roots very quickly, and the root damage causes foliar damage that looks very much like that. are you sure that particular auto pot is functioning correctly?
you could have a small magnesium issue, which is usually caused by the ph being off, but it doesn't usually show up on newer growth, and mag is a mobile nutrient.

The issue is your nutrients. Coco is meant to be fertigated daily. As you can see, time release nutrients don't work well with it.

This resonates a bit, for sure. I did turn the water off for a few days, so that I could water in some Recharge. Perhaps, the roots got damaged. The OG may have been more sensitive to the drying than the white widow or GSC. Live and learn, I guess. Appreciate all the input. I like the idea of the Autopots, as watering too little or too much is a struggle, and individuals can take what they need when they need it.

Assuming it's root damage. I'm guessing there's no way to recover?

I'm beginning to agree here. Reservoir based nutrients seem to be the way this system was meant to be used. Need a little more flexibility in feeding, and feel a bit trapped by the time released nutrients incorporated into the medium.

just allow for the nutes in the medium, go a little lighter at first, then step it up as the plants use up whats in their pots

Thanks, everyone. Noob alert! I checked the PH of the res and it was mid 7's, so that's not great. I know now to PH the water in the res, after everything has been added, even though I'm not adding anything, at the moment. Anyway, I let the OG go, so down to two. Things look much better, and looking forward to the next few weeks. Appreciate.
