thanks for the tips!I have some questions regarding your colloidal silver making. Here are some tips that may help. Only use distilled water, it has been vaporized to leave all impurities behind. Impurities of any kind will produce byproducts that will affect PPM. Only use .9999 silver, I get mine in 14 gage wire from the jeweler for about $20 a foot (?). Again impurities in lesser grade silver will affect PPM. Use a proper power source. I bought a 30v adjustable transformer for about $50 off of eBay. You can use (3) 9 volt batteries hooked up in series as a substitute if you need to. Put your Mason Jar (covered in black tape), with your silver and distilled water in it, on a coffee warmer as it will speed up the process considerably. Run your finished solution through a coffee filter and cool it to room temperature before taking your PPM reading. Make sure that you have a reliable PPM meter and always keep your finished solution covered completely (a spray bottle covered in black tape works fine) and stored in a cool, dark space. Good Luck and if you still have trouble, switch to the Tiresias, I have not used it myself but have heard many good things about its efficacy.
I'm using .9999 wire I bought, and a 9Volt DC transformer. Maybe not enough voltage?
