Who benefits? This kept the Republicans in power and stoked a lot of anti 'muslim' hate that was used to maintain power for the Republican party. The Democrats since then have moved to be as close to 100% representation of the entire nation and the Republicans have trolled it ever since.

Toss in a few dictators working with domestic funders of this radicalization that the conspiracy theories have created, and you can draw a direct line through all of the right wing propaganda connecting it right back to the mess we find ourselves in today with anti-vaccine death cult trolls pushing everything to keep people unsafe.

If there is some crazy ass conspiracy to somehow time a exploding building that (just happens? was the actual 9/11 attack part of this conspiracy or was it a scape goat), that means a whole lot of people had to be involved. And all those people would have had to have some reason to 1. kill a lot of fellow Americans, and 2. to not talk right? That is the biggest hole in these conspiracy theories. It requires people to think the absolute worst in humanity at all times.

How often do you think people don't go into those offices downtown everyday that are big enough that you would give a shit what their names are? Are you saying that it is unusual for those people (or a similar mixture of people not working at any given time) to not be in the office?

'looks' is not something that I would hang my hat on man.

9/11 was a horrific act of terrorism that our nation experienced and collectively we have been suffering some PTSD ever since, making us vulnerable to this attack on our democracy.

These conspiracies are just fuel for that fire.
