Yeah...these things...if you've been anywhere near the Mississippi River or Ohio River you've seen them...pushing barges full of grain, corn, or coal mostly...river depending...St Paul MN to St Louis n then on down to New Orleans is where I'm usually working...Illinois River in the winter bc from St Louis above up to St Paul the ice makes Navigating thru the locks n dams impossible RM-aerial-001.jpgmvChad.jpg

I saw those things in the Puget Sound . Or something similar. I often wondered how fun it would be to ride on one. I bet you seen some really big gators. That’s awesome!

Im actually in a shipyard in New Orleans now n saw one the other day...ppl feed them from the boats so they come lurking...

Can be cool...can be fun...can be dangerous...can be lonely...all that...spend alotta time away from home but also when your off your OFF...so its a sacrifice = reward situation...28days on 28off...8-9 guys per crew...its all abt the crew...good crew things go smooth n good times...bad crew counting the days til home

They did catch a bullshark in Alton, IL which is right above St Louis...no Locks & Dams on the Mississippi from St Louis below to the gulf...above St Louis there's a lock n dam about ever 25miles...average...so I don't think they could make it above St Louis...

I walked out on her...old high-school girlfriend that I hadn't seen since high-school when I ran back into her...she was going thru a divorce at the time...hooked up...married within 2months of the finalization of her divorce..too fast...couple months later im standing in the shower shaking my head thinking to myself "what have you done"...wasn't the same girl I knew in high-school...she had 2 teenage boys i couldn't stand...
Plus she had no ass n I'd be laying in bed with her thinking I can't do this the rest of my life laying in bed with a stick figure...ha
Her family had big bread and her boys were spoiled little bitches bc of it...no discipline...I'd mow the lawn n these kids wouldn't even rake...that kinda shit...14year old boys laying on the couch with an iPad hollering "mom make me a sandwich"...and she would...I wasn't raised like that...finally said I've had enough one day n dipped...
And she liked to drink and I despise alcohol...

Did it as a kid some...not my thing...working out here is more of a lifestyle instead of a job...I'm not a Mon-Fri 8-5 kinda guy...when i was younger this was the job for me bc it was kinda a work hard/play hard deal...ride the boat for a month make good $$ hit the bank n party it up til it was gone n then back to the boat...now it's just what I do n have always done
