Got an email from Mars Hydro and got 2 options....

1. Pay 55 dollars for EU shipping AND i have to deal with all the f... Bullcrap with the customs and raising awerness from the goverment...

2. Pay 124 USD straight to China factory shipping and its a 50-50 chance with customs.....

This light shopping is starting to be a real shitshow...

On the other note, everything in my life is good so far <3

Sorry for your trouble man. Here in Canada it's always a gamble with customs and import fees. Look at the bright side, it's going to hurt more up front than you expected but whichever way you go you should have a light that lasts a number of years which means many harvests. Good luck, hope you get it sorted out.

Thank you for the words of wisdom <3 if it gonna get caught at customs then it makes since to then buy a light that last longer.
Thanks for replying to my headspin around this :D

Hello People :) i need help on witch one to buy the next couple of days. .

Let me get a quick pro/cons with booth lights.

Its going in a 3x3 and then 4x4 later.

So its between the
MARS HYDRO TS 3000
VS SPIDER FARM SF 4000
Myself I like spider farmer over Mars the only reason is heat I dropped 10 degrees in my 4x4 by switching to spiders I myself would rather but 2 sf2000’s over a 4000 just because if part of that 4000 goes bad you have to send the whole light in if one of your 2000’s goes bad then you still have a light. My way of thinking

This is correct. If you have the funds, yes. There are so many lights, your best bet is to find out what features you want and then go looking for a light that has those with the right price. There are so many other brands out there and it can be super confusing. As someone who has a ts1000 from mars, i would only personally get either of those if you can find them on sale. They tend to be rather expensive for their quality at regular list price

Don't drive yourself crazy with the light thing man. I did that same thing and the problem is there are so many options that it's a never ending case study. You will always find ways to spend more or less money. Always find little and big differences between lights. You were going to light a 3x3 or 4x4 so a true 600 watt light will be perfect. If you get the HLG you will be happy as it is a great light and perfect for a 4x4. That said I am sure any decent 600 watt light will do.

Hey @Mr Hill. So a couple bits of advice. Get a Kill A Watt or like device to plug the light into. They are cheap, mine was under $30. That will show you exactly how much power your light is drawing and make it easier to set to specific setting as dimmer knob is not very helpful for letting you know what percentage the light is running at. Than set to 50% or 300 watts at. 30" for veg and. 24" full power for flower. Adjust the light up slowly the 2nd week of 12/12 until you reach full power over 5 days or so. Hope that helps you out. This is info I got from Steven at HLG and it works well.
