Im running the light at 50% at 24 inch at 8 days of flower. Is this to much with this light?
Sounds perfect. I would give them a few days to get used to the light and than start turning it up over the course of a week until you are at full power. Keep in mind when I started using this light my plants got real hungry and I am using twice the nutes I did with my old light. Just something to keep in mind. As for the thermometer, it is good for measuring leaf temps amongst other things. Never a bad thing to have.

Ya. That's actually what I do. But it takes constant adjusting of the windows. Kinda a bitch.
I also use a lung room, but have the window adjustments somewhat automated. I hooked up a small 4-inch axial fan to a small board placed in the window opening. I have that fan on a timer, so that it runs when it's typically hotter out, and turns off when it's cooler.

My bedroom is more inconsistent. It is vented so, there's always a little air that's coming in. If it's cold outside it's colder in my room, and when It's warmer outside it's warmer in the room. Also if the attic is warmer my room is warmer. They added soffit vents, and those go to a couple loft kinda places so some of that air is always able to come inside. The loft area's just need to be sealed up now, but we haven't done it. It kinda works nice sometimes. It keeps RH way down too.

I haven't turned on my heater or anything up there in years. I try to keep it around 68 degrees in my room, but sometimes it get's to 80 on warm sunny days in summer. But it always cools off at night. So I run lights on at night.

I've gotta say, I am impressed with my mars hydro light next to my HLG. That being said I will stay buying HLG because I trust the quality as well as the customer service
Ya, well said. But he has nothing to worry about if he ever had a problem with it, which is unlikely. He has piece of mind that even after the 3 year warranty, they'll still take care of him.

HLG's got my business, but I'd buy from a few other companies too.

Not dissing Mars, but if I was gonna buy a Chinese light I'd go straight to the source and buy a Meijui.

52 right now but inside the tent its 43
Inside tent is 43 and you got your temps down, should be fine. You may want to figure out how to get your room humidity down some. You don't want to be pulling damp air into the tent, it's fine in veg but you want it lower in flower. Especially when the buds start getting bigger.

Or open a window, it's winter here and humidity is low. You might need to get a dehumidifier but I can't say for sure as I don't know the layout of what you got going on.
I can not open a window because my windows are at ground level and i have neighbours above me that cuts the grass outside the window. So i think i need to buy a dehumidifier

That's unfortunate but understandable. It sucks you have to buy more equipment but once you do at least it will last a while, start up costs are always a pain. Get something big enough to take the humidity in your lung room down so the air flowing into your tent is much lower.
