I bought a couple pumps that fit in the palm of your hand. Tied tubing to a fiberglass rod. Mounted the pump to the end.

I fertigate with the same setup only opposite (with the pump in the rez, not at the end of the rod).

The whole point of runoff is to leach the excess salts out of the medium. It is also not wise to let plants sit in standing water, it will deprive roots of oxygen and can lead to overwatering/lockouts/root rot.

Cant beat a mini wet vac, zero mess and instant. They make small little ones aswell, same size as a 2 liter bottle

I cut that bs out of my setup though and my entire grow box floor drains away with the pots slightly elevated on grids
