I've been using a syringe but they suck after a while its a real PITA. Just bought 6 gallon 4hp shopvac for $35USDAmazon has syringes up to 500ml with tubes. I use the 500ml to suck runoff water out of the saucers. Works great, and fast. 14.99 shipped

The directions should say to use the filter when using it as a dry vac, and to remove the filter when using it as a wet vac for liquids.My shop vac says to leave it on. Thanks for the tip though. Ill definitely remember that on my next purchase
