I have found that getting high gpw stats requires low light intensity, which then impacts overall yield and at least in my opinion, quality.
I'd rather get high quality so I'll give up that stat in favor of yield per unit area.

I managed to square that circle some 30 years ago, by running a single HPS in a grow wing reflector under a circular light mover. I positioned the lamp only 8-10" above the canopy so plants got an intense dose of light, but since it moved it didn't stick around long enough to scorch them. The light mover did a full rotation about every 3 and a half minutes, so the plants would work on their photo chemistry and by the time they caught up, the light would be back.Yes, can't have your cake and eat it too. Good example is guys using light movers with crazy high gpw but way more fluff vs static sources.
