MAIN STALKS ACCIDENTALLY SPLIT WHAT TO DO?

I use caging, and green tape branches down to open up the canopy in veg but I made a big mistake this year on a couple of my plants... I tied down the main stalks on a couple of my plants to much and they split. I noticed this a few days ago july 11th is when I first noticed it... I caked the splits up with pruning sealer , and zip tied the stalk back together, the stalk on my cherry pie split fully while the other one (white widow) is just starting to split ... I know I can support them more and I know they will heal but I'm just curious on anyone else's opinion much appreciated ...

I use electrical tape as it has a bit of give to it. Just tape them up and support the branches. As long as they are still attached, they will be fine. Happens to mine all the time. By harvest, there’s usually more tape on my plants than leaves. Lol

Ok I just wrapped a bunch of electrical tape around it and cut off the zip tie , I was using zip ties but tape seems more plant friendly... i just hope that all the weight that starts to develop on the branches doesn't make it split again...

Scotch tape worked wonders for mine and I split the main stalk from top down 3 inches. Rebounded fast. Would've rebounded faster had I rubbed pure honey on the wound and taped it up. The buds on this plant are solid and frosty. Albeit height was reduced compared to other 3.

Here's simple Easy repair. And clean. Spritz the split with H2O2. A few minutes later apply cinnamon with A q tip or small brush to the wound only. Seals in A short time and anti fungal. If you must support It. Use electrical tape sticky side out. Only wrap It one time and use multiple pieces without overlapping. This stretches with growth. Not choke. Remove in A couple weeks.
