Renfro Well-Known Member May 20, 2020 #4 Is it hard and crunchy? Thats perlite. If it's soft and mushy then it could be a form of mycelium. What are the lumps of brown sugar looking like crap?

Renfro Well-Known Member May 20, 2020 #7 Pull some of the white stuff off the soil and let it dry out on a piece of paper or plate. When it's dry see if it's crunchy. It really looks like perlite that just floated to the top during waterings.
