Hello I had a question I just transplanted into a 5gal bucket I'm outdoors should I keep ny plant in direct sunlight or leave it off to side in shade for a couple days

Always direct sunlight as much as possible. Only clones or plants that are in shock need to be slightly removed from direct light. Healthy plants need full sun.
 
Ok the roots were pretty white kinda stringy they were all at the edges of soil . The soil came out in shape of pot lots Of roots. Idk if i call them thick

Always stick them in the shade for a few days to harden off. Do not just stick them in the sun if they have been under artificial lights. It can burn the leaves. Even if it doesnt ...it puts the plants under great stess.
