Will those survive

Hi everyone,

Am growing cannabis for the first time and three of my plants are stretching their stems a bit too much. I noticed they started doing this when i started hardening them by putting them near the window for some sunlight as my plan is to plant them outdoors.
I think i also did couple of mistake by confusing myself between two "probably" different methodologies: I topped them and then i wanted to manifold them. I topped them about the third node and then removed all tiny leaves and tiny branches below this third node to give priority for branch on 3rd node to grow and then manifold.
I need some expert advice to know if they will survive this and grow healthy or should i restart again.
Also when i transplant then outside can i bury half of that long stem in the soil?
Thank you so much for your help

Look fine dude. So far so good. It'll be fine it's healthy. Just a we bit of heat stress I can see Ur plant tacoeing be careful with direct light through a window it can burn the plant.

@manfredo Nothing left to trim lol..thanks man.
@NoobieGreenz great tips, thanks man. I put them back under LED blue light indoors to stimulate the foliage growth and stop stem from further stretching.
But can i bury half of that stem in soil when i transplant into smart pots outdoors guys? My wife says "NO they are not tomatoes" I need an expert tip there. :D

would suggest giving the plant some training and manipulation in early stage to expose side branches to light, so when u make the topping you still have something developed that will start growing..
i honestly would not have topped that plant in that way, leaving so tiny branches to become the new tops. They will be fine, u just slowed down the growing process by a pair of weeks.
You can cover a bit of stem with soil, but it would be definally better to get that lady to grow horizontally and lower.
Topping is usually part of mainfolding, but you need some branches to mainfold! not these tiny nodes..
I would recommend you to check supercropping technique, mainfolding works well in most conditions but you don’t need to be simmetrical, as stems with adequate light and distance from roots will equalize to each others and become mains if they got the space to do it, and just bending a branch (or the whole plant) horizontally breaks apical dominance just like topping but with much less stress.
Years ago i just used to top and LST and Plants were looking a 10% beautiful of what i grow now in shape, using early manipulation and all kinds of bending and twisting, even carefully making KNOTS with the branches themselves.
For sure, they stretched this way cause they were put under not direct sunlight and wanted more. if you move em from indoor to outdoor for sure u need acclimatization, but take it easy cannabis is strong and wants a lot of energy!

Not a expert opinion but when mine stretched I topped them up to half won't do any harm if anything it's going to support Ur stem

Thank you @giantcola for this great tips. I just check supercropping and it looks woow...do you suggest i start LST now by bending those fan leaves branches and the main stem? or just wait until those tiny baby branches have grown a bit.
I know i trimmed to much out of them but hopefully they will recover and some decent branches can grow out of them.

You're welcome bro!
it's all about light exposure of the single branches.. now these small baby nodes are perfectly exposed under direct lights, but as soon as something starts being shaded by something else, of course you can manipulate and bend even the main stem of the plant to make these branches all equal in heigh, referring in distance from the growing medium. My method of training (every day or so manipulation) is pretty similar to what a Youtuber i follow does, named Pigeons420. He has a ton of video posted on his youtube channel and explains a lot of things very well, i would highly recommend checking his channel (also is on weedtube) and using the search button on his videos or the playlists to find what you looking for (in this case just typing "training" you will end up with couple videos to watch). I think he is an amazing grower and videos are pleasing to watch, along with other growers i follow, i always learn something from some of em

Hi folks, following up on this thread and those girls i thought i screwed up earlier. This is how one of em looks now.
I was thinking: if i FIMed it/them, will this make them bushier? should i do this or stop trimming them for a while?
@manfredo you said earlier i should stop trimming them? help is really appreciated on what to do next to make them have as many cola as possible?
thank you all
