Is FFOF soil too hot for (veg) dry amendments?

I'm going with Earth Dust dry amendments and it has a base for veg, i was wondering if if Fox Farm soil would be too hot in the beginning, if so I'll just go with Pro Mix I guess, no extra nutes are needed with the Earth Dust,

If you go FFOF u need to wait about two weeks at least to top dress. Depends on how much your wattz are. And how big your plant is getting

Well the base or grow part of the Earth Dust requires u to mix it in the soil before anything goes in it the top dress with bloom one week before flower, I really wanna use the FFOF soil but I'm afraid it will be too hot cause of pre mixing it into soil for veg

I would say more than 2 weeks I say more like 4-6 of veg the soil has imo
Depends when I had one plant under my 600 it was ready in 20 days. That’s why I said two weeks minimum then time for the top dress to work. I’ve never had one go even close to 4 weeks just on the soil. I’m doing a 5 gallon auto I’m hoping to get that much out of it this time!

that's just from me atleast when I used it I put in a clone and I didn't have to feed her once for 5-6 weeks just water but then after that I added ewc and some nice compost to it but, ffof imo is hot it just doesn't need food. this was a outdoors plant what strain was it that u were running because I ran a indica and it just didn't want food. idk that's my 2c bongsmilie many variables that can make the plant eat anyway I guess.

That method of soil infusion .... is no different than other dry fert use. It helps lesser charged mediums .

FFOF is a bit hot right from the start and needs a few weeks to start to exhaust a little. BUT If you add “ even more nutes “ in it , that will burn much easier. FFOF is pretty complete besides needing more perlite. I would wait on that nute until at least the 5th week then start light.

id say OF is defiantly way to hot for starting seedlings. I actually burnt my plants slightly using happy frog. I'd try and get some light warrior. That is FF's soil dedicated for seedlings.

I’ve been running a mix pack of autos. Amnesia haze, blueberry, northern lights.

No big deal I’ve since made some changes so I’m now growing four under that light instead of one. Maybe now I will get that many weeks!

big thing for me was it was behind my shed so it would have gotten a little less light. I didnt want anyone seeing it was a short plant but was good doe.
