He probably has the actual "HLG 360 Elite" fixture, it's water proof and that jazz.
The QB96 Elite V2 with heatsink combo, spectrum is
way better than anything just plain white led, including the 288 V2. I don't think that's even an opinion at this point
If you open a tab for each of the two boards (board only) and combo kit (board and heatsink only). Choose whatever 288 V1 or V2 spectrum your considering (3000k I guess) to the 96E V2 spectrum. Compare the specs (max current, etc).
The splayed pin heatsinks also cool more efficiently than fin heatsinks, air passes through them in all directions. QB96 w/heatsink is very flexible in use. Definitely an upgrade to the 288 V2 spectrum. It's closer to the Rspec spectrum. The QB96 w/heatsink price is great.

@PJ Diaz, I'd probably use 288 V1s in 4000k for "veg", if I needed a high blue for keeping real short plants. But the QB96 has a nice blue spike that, from everything I've seen and heard (not on this forum) they veg excellent, no first hand experience with them in veg yet.
I do love the low profile of the QB288, and the spaced out didoes/board. I like the form factor. The QB288 V3 are out in the near future, have you considered that as well?
