Quantum board is just the coined name of the led boards hlg offers.
Are you sure? It's not a brand name, or trademarked (by HLG).
They also are a US company and have great customer service.
Absolutely. They do.
I ended up getting an HLG 550 V2 rspec on Alibaba for $315 (including shipping). There are enough people backing it, so I'm sure it'll work fine.
You sure didn't. A "Horticulture Lighting Group HLG 550 V2 Rspec", on Alibaba!? Wow, since when is Alibaba an authorized retailer of horticulture lighting group products? That's fantastic, and what a deal. Does it use - oh shit, it does, it uses Quantum Boards!
@Stephenj37826 Check out this sweet deal.
The "brand" says
Brand Name: AYNHUI. Lol.
What the fuck do people think "HLG" stands for? Haha.
These guys are using another companies name in their product listing. They are using another companies exact product line naming for their product listing. And they're using the term "quantum board" in their listings as well. Nothing could really be more low, as far as this type of stuff goes.
The quality of their product, I don't know - can't say it's garbage. But I wouldn't trust people who're
trying to lie to people, misrepresent their product/another company and their product, and dupe other ignorant buyers.
However, the other day, I bought a Ford Corolla AMG - it's the NSX with VTEC, and it's got the HEMI. Picked it up at the Fauxguar dealership.
Anyway, I duno why people are sleeping on the HLG QB96 Elite V2..
@JSB99 I didn't reach end of thread yet, but if you mentioned you're able to DIY, then why buy a 550? I'm not saying don't, but diy'ing their 288s or 96s is pretty simple.
I see you cancelled the allibaba order now though.
(Edit: spelling)
