Aussie Growers Thread

Why arent you feeding it?
I have fucked up before with nutrients so i have decided to leave it till the plant is a bit stronger and can handle the nutes. This is my second attempt to grow, first time was a bit hard with rental inspections happening often , and I had a horrible gnat infestation so i just gave up unfortunately.

Give it some food. Start with 1/4 the recommended strength for seedling. Also gnats are more of a nuisance than an issue with growing weed.

Lookin good dusty they have taken off quick. Pita tryna tuck all the branches threw that screen?
The screen in the pic is basically full. I have to tuck that screen every day there clones and pretty stretchy. The seem to cooperate better then the other screen there from seed those plants and a lot thicker stems and less cooperative with the screen then the clones are.

Any advice on when to flip these girls I haven’t done a scrog before my gut is telling me to do it when my res is empty probably 5 days. Not sure if this is to soon or should I do another 14 days. Any thoughts welcome

I would have flipped them already DD. You want enough left of the screen to be able to still tuck for the first 2ish + weeks of stretch. The one in the bottom pic is fairly full already, n not much room left for tucking.

Rule of thumb is when the screen is about 75-80% full = flip. I lean towards 75% if I’m not sure how much they’ll stretch for the first run of a strain. And leave a fair bit of the screen left for tucking with a Sativa dom.

This is a good method. For a 4x4 - 4- 5 plants. Top at 3rd or 4th, lst, top again. No more topping and just lst, put screen at about 20cm above base of plants. Once most tops have hit the screen - flip and keep tucking for first 2-3 weeks of stretch. Cut away anything below the screen that didn’t make the screen canopy, defol a bit and let it go.
