What height do you run the 400 watt hps above the canopy? I'd imagine closer than 18" maybe?@Moflow Great looking plants there. Really tidy set up. Thanks again for par maps. It does make me think why is a 400w hps so good in terms of yield, when the par is so bad?
This is the first crop from a while back, called winter solsticeWhat height do you run the 400 watt hps above the canopy? I'd imagine closer than 18" maybe?
I'd guesstimate that an open space 3 x 3 area par map for the 400 watt hps would look like below

Then bump these figures up, especially the edges by ~ 20% for your reflective tent and it's more respectable looking.
Do the autos need as much light as photos? Never grown an auto. I've a few auto seeds waiting for spring time.
I suppose the par maps show that you need less wattage with leds compared to HPS to get similar results.
Fire off an email or PM @diyled he'll give you sound advice on your quest for the perfect setup.
@coreywebster is using the Aussie Highlight boards.
Any updates on how the boards are doing Corey......?
Great work. What are you getting like 2 grams per watt or something? Looks that way from the pics. This is the first crop from a while back, called winter solstice

That tents a 2x4x5, two plants, pain in the ass when you've got an 8" filter
Not hit that as of yet, though in different tents I was getting around 1.65-1.7gpw without scrogging, which I am doing with this tent due to height.Great work. What are you getting like 2 grams per watt or something? Looks that way from the pics.
When the buds are on the smaller side you can run them and run them until they are like rocks, without the fear of bud rot.Not hit that as of yet, though in different tents I was getting around 1.65-1.7gpw without scrogging, which I am doing with this tent due to height.
Also I should correct myself , thinking back the first pics were possibly under 4k version 2 quantum boards. 265w.
My first crop with the high light boards was in a 3x3 so it cant be those pics. Wish I had saved the pic of that because they were incredibly frosty.
Will let you know the score on this run when I chop them but not expecting to break any records, buds are on the small side. You never know though!
