I had one approx 24hr power outage while in flower in my RWDC sys and there was no prob at all.
But I was anxious during that time and wouldn't want to go any longer.
I never had backup gen but I'm in the burbs and the power is quite reliable.
So the roots sitting in tubs of water wont be affected much cause of the high levevls of DO in the water?
Yea id start pezzin out a fair bit although i dont live in the suburbs out in the contry but never had blk outs for 24hr most are sorted within a few hrs.
Edit. I just read 2easys post bout the 8hrs

Sorry to just randomly drop in on this current point of conversation however I seek the advice of the Aussie Growers Council as my girl did bounce back from her oversize transplant upgrade however she is only growing ever so slow. And I am thinking do I top her??? Will this help establish new growth and height and if so where do I make the CUT? Please any help would be truly appreciated...see images

Looks a bit pale. Get some food into her. Also looks like the medium is a bit dry.

I'll admit, I'm kinda new to Coco-growing, but I'll echo reza's comments. If you've got her in pure Coco (which is what it looks like), then a good soak/feed will probably produce a bounce-back in growth.

I've only done soil up until this year & have had to learn coco. It felt really weird having to keep the medium totally saturated, but it works. Go with it.

Once you've got her looking healthy, only THEN think about the cutting/trimming/topping/fimming stuff.

Awesome reply straight to the point and outlines how basic the setup needs to be although someone settin it up for the first time would still have fun rackin their brains on design an then dialin in the setup
Totally. There's a million ways to skin a cat. Im constantly rejigging and toying with my setup trying to make it as hassle-free, automated and reliable as possible.
I run 20% because I just pump salts hard and don’t want a buildup. I agree it’s overkill for most people. I’d recommend a decent runoff every 1-2 weeks but just to be on the safe side.
Yeah i do agree with this. Every 2 weeks, run 15-20% through to make sure EC is perfect in the medium. I must admit ive done grows without the mini-flush tho and never had a real issue. I run reasonably low EC tho.

'Got kinda busy today..
Put another IB clone in the ground. This one is just going to be left to its own devices (ie. no caging) to see how it compares to the others out there). This is after I pulled 8 clones off her

Pulled the IB & Gelato OG clones out of the tent (they were about to explode on 18/6) & put them in the greenhouse for some extra breathing space.

Not bad, considering Dusty didn't think it'd survive & I also took another 8 clones off her before the photo was taken.

Up-potted the chilli seedlings into 1-gal fabrics that I'm going to keep in Coco. Still got another 16 or so to get through..View attachment 4454585

This IB has been defoliated before I started spraying CS on a single branch & gave her the space to produce seeds inside the tent.

Now I have to manage all this lot without having a conniption.

Edit: @beernutz, you said you were after bulk IB seeds. I think I might be able to help you out there....
Yes most definitely mate but I need fem seeds of the bulk
The dude I'm talking bout I order for does 30 odd a year and needs the fem versions
No fucking around on his watch

This is a preety cool little vid.
Thats where is all started for me, Dutch buckets 1994

Can someone explain where exactly the waste runs to in run to waste systems? Or does it just collect in a tray which needs emptying etc
Into bucket which then go onto the vege garden. Nice little perk in these dry times.

whats the most stinky strains and most potent ozzys have grown found most the strains i baught have little to no smell ?
Whats you temps in your room? If they are above about 28C then wont be as much smell

Well who ever is having trouble cloning. @Rewerb and I have found a new way. Cut the clone fresh that morning, dip it in honey, then place in a eco pod. Then drop it twice shove it in a card board box give it to a random stranger you meet on the net (turns out to be an awesome bloke) in a secluded location. Then then they drive it halfway across the state. It’s guaranteed to work. LOL but it was the top of the plant so it’s got the most drive to grow in my stoned opinion

What are the chances of meeting another mass murderer in a secluded place eh?

was a bit of a claytons win but ill take it.
I wont be set up i dont think.

Spent some money yesterday. Ordered a light mover and acoustic insulation
I couldn’t do it anyway scrog makes it hard.
My light mover is gold still got it in the cupboard. Instead of a straight light rail they should make circles for tents cover the area better. Bigger tents you could have 2 lights on it moving opposite sides of each other. Another stoned opinion
