Yea just wondering if that was only the major components. I wouldn't include the wire and screws in the 'ballpark' price either. So it doesn't include heatsink cost, ok (but aren't needed for this particular build configuration). Thanks.
I was thinking of suggesting something, but these strips might be better in a coverage sense especially at 30w/sqft. I just realized how insane the amount of light at the most recent place I helped setup might actually be. Lol :D

Nice, are they in pairs (per driver) like 260w hlg kits or some other way? Do you have about 1400-1500w over that space?..
Ps: link to your journal doesn't work.

(I don't mean to go off topic of your thread, Hardluck. I need to be more aware of that, haha.)

@diggs99, so I’m wondering if I can use the 320h-c1050b or 320h-1400b driver running in series? In the attachment below where it says expected Drive Current ( 0.90 ) is that 900ma? I’m about to just go ahead and order those strips from Cutter, 16 of the 3000k & 16 of the 5700k or 6500k ( which u think would be better? ) using 8 strips per fixture, 4 fixtures ( pretty much the same way greengene made in that video ) but trying to figure out which driver to use as I want each fixture to have its own driver so I can just mount the driver on the top of the fixture. I appreciate ur help brother!

Hey man,

As i said before, im not much help in the driver area bud, sorry, im still learning to match drivers myself, are you buying the drivers from cutter aswell?

If it were me, id just buy the strips from Cutter, then order the drivers from digikey or arrow. This way if anything does go wrong with the drivers, digikey or arrow can replace it under warranty hella quick. Digikey and arrow are both insanely fast at getting stuff to customers, so order your strips. we will figure out the driver and you can order them separately.

Ahh shit thats right, my bad I do remember now you saying that. No, Im not buying anything but the strips from Cutter. But will that number of strips be good at 8 per fixture for a total of 32? Plus, which u think would be better between 5700k & 6500k to go with the 3000k strips? Thanks again bro!

Yes 8 strips on a 320 will work fine, just need heatsinks.....the strips will be running at 40w per

12 strips per is where you would need to be to run them soft enough to not need heatsinks....26.6w per

Just throwing that out there to remind you lol

I was leaning towards the 5700 myself. I hung 4 6500k cfl bulbs close to my 3 plants along with the blurple light i have and was fortunate enough where it did t shadow or anything and since adding them during veg, i really noticed a difference and seemd to really help

Ok, like u said I’ll just go ahead and order the strips then we can figure out which drivers I need to go with. Hopefully someone can chime in and lend a hand with that, honestly I’m hoping someone will just tell me exactly which one to get lol. The more research & reading i do on drivers, the more confused i get lol. Again, can’t thank you enough for ur time, ur opinion and all ur help bud!

No worries man, i enjoy helping others when I can. I was given tons of help when I first started. It's what makes these sites great. Everyone helping out where they can.

Ya I'm in the same boat about drivers, trying to learn myself. Don't worry, you will def have your correct drivers ordered soon, I'll make sure one of the smart bros pops by to help you out with that.

Or @welight will be back online and can answer it for you.

Awesome!! I know you have my back and won’t leave me hangin as you’ve been there to help me every step of the way so far and always reply which is appreciated more than u know bro!! Just hope it doesnt take too long to receive the strips from Cutter or have any issuse such as shipping or anything, I’ll keep my fingers crossed. Also, hopefully which ever driver I need to go with, is decently priced, not too sure if I’d be able to make a 240w driver wrk or not?

240w drivers x4 would also work well. 8 strips per puts them at 32w per strip, thats a nice number

As long as you got a minimum of 960w across the 4x8 you will be fine.

@diggs99 , oh my jesus lord, $91 for shipping?! Holy shit bro! This is one thing i read about them too, that their shipping prices are absurd which is another reason i was hoping @welight would respond to see if i could get a discount code for shipping. I was think maybe $50 or so but not damn near $100 to ship the damn things wow
