The 6500k J Series strips from Cutter are 80cri, is that nit good? Their 3000k are 90cri tho
Can I ask what the estimated cost of (or budget for) this build is. Being a build for a 4'x8' canopy and all. Are strips being used mainly because they're the cheapest option? I'd assume - thought I read that.

They are fine....all my lights are built with a mix of 80cri and 90cri....according to some very smart dudes, this was the best way to achieve spectrum with the jseries.
So i went half and half 80/90....but m strips are all 3000k

I would tell you to buy the gen2 3000ks, my only concern is not being able to buy enough of them...they arent easy to find anymore and i think you need more than 40 for 4x8 canopy to run them efficiently.

I’m bout to say fuck it and just order 16ea of the J Series in 3000k and 6500k using 8 per 2’ x 4’ fixture, just dont know which driver would be best to use? . This chick I been talking too just offered to buy them for me lol, saves me over $300.

The Math is only good if he can find enough strips lol....he needs atleast 960w to cover the 4x8....so 3x320w fixtures would require 60 strips...arrow has 40

$240 USD per fixture (including LED, heatsink, and driver? And omitting the odds and ends like wires and wagos - which is fine). Im curious the price comparison. I've known about "strips" and such, but have never tried them..yet.
