Yes i had an issue when i first ordered through cutter, it said on the website the strips were in stock and ready to ship, but that wasnt correct. They had a 3 week lead time that i wasnt aware of. Also true that Mark dont seem to be online responding to emails that frequently, he has always got back to me tho and has always been super chill and easy to deal with. Only other issue i had was the connectors but that was quickly fixed and all new strips have since upgraded connectors.

honestly im pretty surprised he never got back to you and if it were me, id prob already be looking elsewhere at other products by now out of frustration and impatience. Its been 2 weeks.

Do you Want to explore some other strips elsewhere? im around and willing to help you if you do.

Samsung f series or h influx are legit
plc photoboost
Bridgelux just released the new gen3s
Honestly, I don’t know where else to look. What sites would be good to look on? Are there any strips near the price range of Cutter as it looks like those photoboost strips from PLC are expensive! I appreciate your help!

@diggs99 , can I use 4 of the HLG-240H-48AB drivers? A couple differences I see
( well between the watts of course lol ) is the Rated Current, where the 480H is 10A and the 240H is 5A and the only 240H driver that’s also 10A like the 480H driver is the HLG-240H-24AB which has the same rated current at 10A but is only 24V. The other difference I seen is the Constant Current where the 480H is 24V-48V and the 240H-24AB is 12V-24V? This is where I’m confused and don’t know the exact driver specs I need? Lol. I’ve been doing some research trying to figure it out but I just don’t know what I need.

Edit: I did some more research and answered one of the questions above as I can use a 24v as the J Series are 48v, but still need to know if I can use the 240H-48 as it’s also 48v but only 5a and not 10a like the 480H-48?
The total current on one of those drivers will be double if the voltage is half. 24v 10amp , 48v 5amp, its the same thing, but you need a 48v driver for 48v strips.

Digikey.com sells strips but it's not an easy site to navigate if you don't know what your looking for. We can help with this tho.

@diyled might be able to help you out? Not sure what he's stocking these days but he sells very good stuff. Atho also not sure if he ships to us.

The cutter j series are cost efficient , Samsung f series will cost a little more but are legit and would be my next choice in your situation . Ya the plc photoboost are def pricey as they are using all top bin stuff.

the newest bridgelux slim gen 3s are also real nice but I'm not sure what lead time is or if they are stocked anywhere yet. They come in 90cri and high lumens/w

I would like to have some 3000k mixed with some higher kelvin strips like 5700k or 6500k instead of 3500k
I would to but its just the 3000 and 3500 are 4.50 a pop and the higher temps are a little bitt more expensive i dont know what he wants the price tag to be but i agree with that fully

each fixture i would do 20 bxbes on a 320 watt driver so your gonna run them at 50 of max power .7 of a amp pretty low but thats why it makes doing this cheaper
hes looking at building lights with 3000k....bxebs gen 2s dont offer this.
The strips your using are discounted because they came out with the new gen 3s, that are in 3000k and 90cri.

@Gond00s

90cri they are not...

but ya, he can still go cheap and buy the bxeb gen 2s in 3000k 80cri if he wants....the new slims are double the price but on specs look muh much better.

He better be quick tho, because finding them still in stock anywhere in 3k is gonna be tough, im surprised arrow still had them to be honest.
