yes but hlg uses top bin diodes from samsung the sf2000 use bottom bin its about the diode quality

I don't care what light people use but as for another question. The answer is. My dick is bigger than your dick. And to those that say size doesn't matter, that's just what some girl told you so she wouldn't hurt your feelings. I'll let the little boys argue over lights.
Seriously though. This topic has been beaten to death. Grow some pot and quit worrying about what light someone else is using. And to those that go on and on about HID being outdated technology and calling people that use them as being stuck in the past. Well kiss my ass. There are those that are respectful and then their are the dumb chumps that think they're cool because they spent $1200 on a light. It might be a cool light but it doesn't make you cool because you bought it. A good portion of the growers posting don't even know what a healthy plant is or how to keep a plant healthy. Going on and on about all the shit they dump on their plants, bragging about their lights, throwing a screen up over their plants that serves no purpose because they don't even know how to scrog. Then they post pictures of their plants that look like they just took them out of the oven with their crispy fried dark green clawing leaves with all kinds of spots and other issues. Then people make ridiculous posts about how the plants look good when they look like shit. Some people might as well be growing under T8's because they screw their plants up so bad that it doesn't matter what light they use.
Check this out. I know people that actually kill it with big harvests of killer bud every year without the need for artificial lighting. They use what's called the sun. It's been done for thousands of years. Long before electricity, diodes, LED's, HID's, etc... Can you believe that? Amazing isn't it.

Get off this thread you un-civilized Neanderthal lol calling him an idiot and just freaking the fuck out because he's right you are stupid you can get great quality led fixtures that produce the same yeild or more yes they are a bit more expensive then hps around 600$ to over 1000$ for a good led but you don't have to constantly replace bulbs and you use way more electricity with hps so with that alone you save more money in the long run
Btw have you ever used a good led for a grow?

Have you ran any comparison grows using leds vs hps? Just curious what lights you were using and what the overall numbers were like?
Ive seen a few documented grows here on site between the 2, albeit smaller scale and not commercial, but the leds always held their own in every aspect. This was proper leds , not the blurples or any of those over priced and under preforming stuff.
I know this whole thread is just bitching back and forth lol you can grow great weed with type of light hps, led, hid, and the sun all depends on how you maintain the plants and ik led gets shit on all the time but that's because people are buying shitty ass lights and think they will grow a pound pluse with led you really have to research the light cuz that 2000w it says prob only pulls 200w from the wall you have to know what your buyingI don't care what light people use but as for another question. I heard it's easier to tell the sex of seeds under LED than HPS.....
I've used spectrum king LEDs before, didn't like them. If I'm able to pull 2 p's using a 600 watt hps, I'll say that pretty damn efficient.
