I'm running the 260 v2 Q.B.'S from H.L.G. . so one 39 watt work ? or a bit much ?

In what sense?
They last about 5,000hrs before they start to lose some UVB output,
But as far as daily,
You'd want to run it around 2-4hrs a day in the middle of your lights on schedule during flower in the beginning, progressing up to about 8 hrs towards the end

Somewhere back in the early part of this thread it mentioned using the Arcadia 12% bulbs as close as 12” working up to the full light cycle and the 14% bulbs at 16-20”. I just mounted 1 48” 14% in a 2x4 and 2-24” in a 2.5 x 2. im still thinking about when I’ll start them and how long I’ll run them.

Nice fixture seems you have all covered..main base light..deep reds, Far reds, extra blues, UVA and now UVB. Good job! nice and clean
Regarding your question ..I am on the opinion we should use them even in veg...but only few hours...and them increase it slowly until peak flowering time when you can use it almost full day if the plants can tolerate that...you must find your own timing..every setup and plant is different

I use a couple of these to supplement LEDs. https://eyehortilux.com/grow-lights/powerveg-family/powerveg-fsuv/. They are on during the entire lights on cycle.

I watched his youtube channel since lot time ago....and when he partner with chillleds.. ..and his round table talks... and when he had nice talks whith greengenes,,,Dont know why he stop his work with leds... I miss his talks... life is hard for all of us....but,,you know..i miss those youtube videos.....Come back growmau...with your magnificient green helmet!!!!..those long talks about leds....

Yeah he just about had the start of a brand going when he moved over to ChilLED. In my opinion. I know I'd still throw down cash for a fucking Growmaus snap back, dammit. I don't know much about him but maybe he's spending more time getting the legit side of his life on track? I don't know, really. Maybe he'll be back with a fury or maybe other things will hold his attention. I tend to think the latter. I miss his long videos, too.
The legend of Growmaus is just one of many things one must witness to appreciate lol

Job happened. If all you do is grow then its easy to find time for youtube videos but if you do 10-12 hours of work its harder.

yeah their pretty popular with their grow lights, this is their newest addition , They have a vid. on youtube ( actually a few )
They recommend keeping it 3 " above the canopy , it'll cover a 4 x 4 area , use the last 2 to 3 weeks of flower .
Watch their vid. he explains it all . Theres a big grow op out west called Love Bud , its huge , they have a shit ton of their lights
You might want to make sure everyone knows that that is supposed to be 3' / 3foot, not 3".
I have a question regarding this type of supplemental lighting. If one has to hang, say, a UV fixture 3' above the canopy, and the main lighting is obviously below that height - between the canopy and the UV light, does one just accept the big shadows/dead spots created by the fixtures below the UV light?
Am I trippin'? It's possible, haha.
