1. I refuse to be a slave to this system that encourages me to get a monotonous job and stay there for years just for money . . .

2. I refuse to allow myself to push my spiritual beliefs on another person are to allow others to do the same . . . .

3. I refuse to allow myself to react violently in any way with people including verbally and when I have I will be the first to apologize and do so sincerely . . .

4.I refuse to accept for face value any and all media reports . . .

5. I resolve to own a gun as long as the second amendment stands . . .

6. I resolve to respect the views of others . . .

7. I resolve to help others in any way when called upon by them regardless of their social status or financial situation . . .
.
8. I resolve to join the community of one through self-examination and positive effort . . .

9. And when I fail at all or any of these I will start over and try again in the next minute . . .

Just high and thought I would post the keys to the path of enlightenment . . . .:peace:

Are you saying owning a gun protects you from the government? I'd have to disagree.
Only from violent action against its own people, numbers are what is important if too few law abiding citizens own guns the threat to the government is reduced. We will see this freedom taken away as well as many others if we do not unite. Non-Violent action is still possible . . . .:peace: When violent action is taken by a peoples government they become violent themselves. This is the slavery I am discussing, the belief that violence and competition are necessary in our society. Guns are simply tools, now an F-22 Raptor that is a weapon . . .

Competition IS necessary in our society...we live in a capitalist society.

As for guns, I really wouldn't care if the 2nd amendment was amended. But that is just my opinion...guns can give a little man a whole lot of power. I don't know...I just think of everyone I know, and how many of them own guns. And then how many of those people have used those guns to defend themselves. Then I think I know of how many people I know who have used guns to harm themselves or others.

That is no longer needed . . . people are experiencing an evolution of consciousness that can either lead to a our destruction or to our enlightenment. The true battle is in your mind, competition is unnecessary in our society provided you embrace non-violent positive feedback. Cooperation is needed to prevent further competition. We simply must live by simple more natural laws or we will destroy the earth and ourselves.

I don't know if you missed it, but somebody already tried this.
It didn't work.
People always say that . . . Who tried this already? Failure is no measure of truth, more people are waking up everyday. The Earth has more humans on it than any other time in history. We live selfishly, and must only adjust our attitudes slowly to survive to create a better world for ourselves. If everyone became only 1% more compassionate the would would be a better place . . . there is too many of us not to unite.

Anyone who has tried socialism, or communism, has tried the "everybody wins" philosophy. It sounds good on paper, but in reality it doesn't work. Competition is something that cannot be eliminated. Competition is not unnatural, rather the opposite. It's how Darwinism works.

Humans are overall very selfish, and uncaring...the best way to describe it is a "Disease Called Man" which is actually a song...anyway, there isn't exactly a way to change everyone's views to fit that thinking. And if you could wouldn't it be a bit unethical?

Not looking for any system of government . . . just a small shift in the minds of men. There is no such thing as a selfish and uncaring baby . . . so what happened to everyone? Tolerance and love are the only "way of thinking" they allow for the entire spectrum of free thought and speech. Negatives will always arise in any society but it must be met with open minded tolerance not negativity and "punishment". We are enslaved by our established ideas . . . simply open 1 one in ten mens minds and the effect would be profound . . .:peace:

Small changes i how people look at the world have a profound and yet unforseen effect. We have no idea how positive action and thought can change the world. Example: https://www.rollitup.org/toke-n-talk/122272-when-you-smoke-herb.html

Of course tolerance and love are the ideal basis of a society. It has been described countless times, in various incarnations of the same Utopia. The fact is a world like this is not possible, it is a bit pessimistic, but humans are naturally selfish (which includes protecting their kin), greedy, lustful, and jealous. All animals are, really. Humans have simply progressed to a point where our competition spills over into the entire world.

Now me must progress further or perish . . . .not looking for Utopia just a small positive shift in the minds of men. Our animal nature is not to be denied but embraced or we will continue to fight it and cause greater violence.:peace:

The sooner you wake up, smell the coffee and stop giving a shit, the better off you'll be. Trying to change the way things are when you're trying to change things that cannot be changed, it's pointless.

If it were possible for me to go back in time and live in solitude on some huge ass mountain, I'd do it. I hate the world and I hate people. I hate reading the history books and seeing what our planet has become. It disgusts me.

You can talk about all of this zen bullshit, but you can't change the way things are. We are past that breaking point... just do what you need to do to survive, and fuck the rest.

You can only change what is in your own mind but first you must break the bonds of mental slavery imposed upon it. Looking at the world as an interconnected place will allow you to see how seemingly insignificant action can change the external world dramatically. Cultivate positivity and compassion regardless of the negative in the past for all we have in reality is the present. The past and future are but an illusion of the mind . . .:peace:
