Left tray, just behind the kale.
Seems less under the more intense light further back but they dont look healthy either.
Kale, swiss chard and romaine seem ok, chard is a bit stretchy.
About 17/10 light cycle, should I have gone with a shorter cycle? They have been the slowest of my veggie starts.
Its actually 17.5/6.5 it is the result of me starting to transition my clone veg area to an outdoor light cycle for putting out doors. I stopped changing the time when I scrapped that project. Since these started in that veg cab I just decided to leave them at that schedule. Seems even though lettuce is a cool weather plant not a short day / long day plant, where spinach is a long day plant should have googled befor planting, I thought it was just a cool weather plant. What is a 17/10 light cycle?
What's interesting is that it is much harder to grow food indoors than people think. It is a fun challenge that everyone should take to test their grow skills
There are "short day" lettuce varieties if my memory serves correctlyIts actually 17.5/6.5 it is the result of me starting to transition my clone veg area to an outdoor light cycle for putting out doors. I would like to challenge any and all here on RIU that are growing with cobs to grow a few heads of lettuce under their lights.
Come on guys and gals, I know you have some extra rockwool cubes, rapid rooters, germination mix and all that laying around. Grab yourself a pack of bib or romaine lettuce on your way out of Wally World and sprout a few up so the rest of the growing word can see how well / if cobs are up to task for food production.
Let's just see if cob can do it start to finish
