tty has done the same many times. He cites something, posts a link, then after going through the article he linked to it's either full of fake shit or as you noted, doesn't even say what he claimed.

It's why I just say whatever comes from counterpunch or that fake economist site or many other bs sites he links to are suspect. Because too often the crap found on those sites DO support the right wing agenda by feeding crap to weak minds like tty's.

Liars lie. They are poisonous to reason. I won't even give the liar a chance to feed me that lie.

Or are hungry people protesting against a military dictatorship that prevent food aid from coming into the country what you mean when you say neoliberal?

or is she a progressive?

Sanders, said: “It’s funny, sometimes American journalists talk about how bad a country is, that people are lining up for food. That is a good thing! In other countries people don’t line up for food: the rich get the food and the poor starve to death.” Is he a progressive? He supports Maduro, who won't let food into the country and people are starving.

might want to pick a couple of skinnier people to illustrate starving people.....
but your point is valid...Maduro lost, and is still in power, illegally.....almost sounds like our situation, doesn't it?
Russia, China, and Turkey all support Maduro....wonder why? surely not so they can build bases in South America to threaten us with? surely not so they can try to cut into more of our trade agreements, and further destabilize our economy?
imo...kill Maduro...send a REAL message to his Russian and Chinese masters...this is all the chance you have of fucking with us. and don't hide it or cover it up...do it openly and tell the entire world why we did it. he was a criminal trying to steal an entire country and use it to help destabilize our country and the entire world. he needed killing.

Venezuela will be better off if they decide what to do with Maduro. My guess is he doesn't last long once the military switches sides.

i'm not confident in their ability to kick him out, if that's what they decide. sometimes the military sides with the people, and sometimes they don't. if they don't, that's a junta....not an unfamiliar term when discussing South American politics.

I totally support US's providing aid inside and outside of Venezuela. I totally support sanctions that hurt the government of Venezuela. I totally support the US working with the 11 Latin American nations that recognize Guaidó as the legitimate leader of Venezuela.

I can't go there with you about the US assassinating Maduro.

the way we are delivering aid is purposely designed to incite war
Yah, if Maduro continues his policies, there just might be civil war regardless of how the aid is being delivered.

The US's actions are provocative. I don't see how they change the course of events all that much. But I'm willing to listen if you have a different opinion.

i know, and i'm not really serious....really....unless the people try to get rid of him, and have trouble....then, well, i might be a little serious....

i'm never really sure, but i think Buck was being sarcastic....hope so...
Maduro is saying that he fears the U.S is going to use the delivery of aid to stage an armed invasion....which is ridiculous....we don't need to stage anything, and i doubt we would bother...if we decided to invade, we'd just invade, and wipe his cute little toy army out in about 3 minutes. of course, that would really piss off his Russian and Chinese masters, which could cause problems...because then they wouldn't get the South American Satellite they want....

...this shit is getting out of hand...the leadership of this country is so poor that putin feels like he can talk this shit about us in front of the rest of the world...can show "detailed plans" and talk about his super rocket that no one has seen...and there will be no repercussions?...I WANT SOME FUCKING REPERCUSSIONS TRUMP...get the fuck off your fat orange ass and act like a fucking man for once in your miserable cowardly draft dodging fucking useless life...at least motherfucking tweet something...that's all you're fucking good for...

and talk about his super rocket that no one has seen
"If somebody told me I could build a bomber that could travel to anywhere in the world non-stop and put a guided bomb through a window and that nobody could see, but would cost 3 billion dollars each, then I would not build it and announce that I've built 50 of them." - Jimmy Carter

yeah, europe is like a street full of old ladies, you can't do a damn thing without them all seeing, and telling those who missed it...if vlad had a "super rocket" there would be pictures of it in every European newspaper out.
