Almost ready to pull the trigger on the new V2 Samsung quantum. Please give me some helpful advice a

I don't like that it's a 2X4 long fixture for a 4X4 space though. If it were me, I'd get 2 of the 3SAML and spread them further apart than they are on the redwood.it's only $50 more to do it that way and I'd say worth it. Especially since you'll have the ability to raise and lower them independently of each other in case you have something go haywire and canopies start towering over each other. Also, separate dimming which could definitely come in handy.View attachment 4174881
Good point being able to raise and lower them independently would be a added bonus for me

As far as the CMH, in The Lecs I've never looked into running these. But I remember the old CMH 315 if memory serves me correctly you ran bear Bowl and that seems like a lot of heat for someone who's used to running thousand what HPS.

I was actually thinking of ordering one of those separately but maybe I should just start off with two of the smaller ones. Instead of one 600 watt and one 320 watt or whatever that smaller fixture is. I'm itching to get him indoor growing Seasons about to start for me.

Decisions, decisions

i use a mix these days i run 1 600hps +315 lec im happy

Dude very cool. I'm glad you're going to be able to see for yourself what these can do. I think you'll be glad you got 2 separate fixtures. @RainDan will take good care of you.
Yeah with the amount of plants I run two fixtures made better sense. So just a regular air condition should cool my room running this 600 watts worth of Quantum V2? And I appreciate your suggestion about the two lights,

I'm giving boards a go this run heat is not even close to hps bulbs ,you may yield a little less by the look of it but the quality may be better ,

im not saying leds aint bad for a small grower they are perfect if u are useing more then one light shit starts to get real pretty damn quick
Did you know LEDs last over 10 yrs before they put out 85-90% of their original brightness? They don't need changed every 3-6 months for $80 a piece. You see buying bulbs as a positive when it's really a negative. A large one. Also use literally half the power.

4 315 lecs would be a way better option and cheaper and will last longer
This is making me laugh. "Will Last Longer", you just must be a total HID fan boy or something. It's like you're stuck in 2012-2013 where all kinds of shit was talked on FOREIGN FIXTURE IMPORTS, for good reason, and believe that LED just means blurple and all the bullshit that comes along with owning one is absolute fact.

With a grand you can easily get a fixture with up-to 2,5μMol/J efficiency that last you at least 10 years or so. Like get it and forget it. Full dimmable with optimized spectrum if you want. For sure an investment you will be happy with..

I've got a 600 watt Samsung V2 board in my cart at Timber. I'm used to running a thousand watt single ended HPS fixture in a raptor Hood. I have no issues Cooling the bulbs in the enclosed hoods. How hard will it be for me to cool this lite?. Also I was thinking of bumping up to the 900 watts of Samsung boards in a 5 by 6, feet room, possibly instead of this one. What do you guys think looking for some helpful advice, any constructive advice would be greatly appreciated have a wonderful night!
Green 217

This is the light that I'm looking to purchase
