I've got a 600 watt Samsung V2 board in my cart at Timber. I'm used to running a thousand watt single ended HPS fixture in a raptor Hood. I have no issues Cooling the bulbs in the enclosed hoods. How hard will it be for me to cool this lite?. Also I was thinking of bumping up to the 900 watts of Samsung boards in a 5 by 6, feet room, possibly instead of this one. What do you guys think looking for some helpful advice, any constructive advice would be greatly appreciated have a wonderful night!

I don't like that it's a 2X4 long fixture for a 4X4 space though. If it were me, I'd get 2 of the 3SAML and spread them further apart than they are on the redwood.it's only $50 more to do it that way and I'd say worth it. Especially since you'll have the ability to raise and lower them independently of each other in case you have something go haywire and canopies start towering over each other. Also, separate dimming which could definitely come in handy.3QB__73984.1531179272.jpeg

These are passively cooled my friend. Simple A/C in the room will be more than adequate to cool the light.
They will produce a considerable amount of heat - but it will be almost entirely from conduction and will tend to naturally rise upwards to the tents exhaust system. As long as you have proper air circulation - cool, fresh air entering the bottom and warm air exiting at the top, then heat should not be a problem.

Ya, well he said it'd be replacing an air cooled thouie so I assumed ventilation was on par and just hanging this in place of it would be all he'd need to do.

But not you personally huh?

Explains a lot. You will be HIGHLY satisfied with the results in my opinion and even more so with the electrical savings.
4 315 lecs would be a way better option and cheaper and will last longer
