You are not oppressed. You are a failure and I do blame your parents, but only you can make a change for self.
Your father was abusive, racist and neglectful. Your mother was a alcoholic, pill abuser, also very neglectful. This did not help in your raising as we can surely see now, but now you are a grown women. Break those chains.
Far as a black mans world...it is not and has not been for centuries. I think this feeling comes from your secret desire to be overloaded with BBC.
