No. It's not.
See: Liebig's law of the minimum
A plant can only use nutrients in a balanced ratio set by the lowest available nutrient.
Here's what happens 9 times out of 10. "Grower X" uses a balanced base nute during veg that keeps his plants green, growing, and happy. Then in flower, they switch to some stupid fucking unbalanced "bloom" nute that drops N and raises P and K. This dumb fucking "bloom" formula is then combined with a bunch of other "bloom booster" shit raising P and K levels even further, driving shit way further out of balance. The end result is that "Grower X" burns the shit out of the plants in flower with excess P and K, and by week 4-5, the plant starts to eat its fan and sun leaves because it's developing N, and other, deficiencies due to not being fed a balanced diet, which means the plant can't use everything it's provided due to the law of the minimum.
The bottom line is that nute companies make a killing by telling growers they need their 6 different bottles of bullshit to make good buds, and ignorant ass growers keep perpetuating this myth despite the fact that the evidence demonstrates the contrary.
Stick with a base nute and learn to grow before you start fucking around with "bloom boosters", as they're pretty much a waste of cash and do more harm than good. Don't believe me? Just look at some grow logs and you'll see an endless supply of burnt leaf tips and cannibalized leaves not even half way through a flower cycle, and yet the grower thinks he's doing great because the plant is actually producing flowers. I don't know about you, but I would rather have the flower produced from the plant that was healthy all the way through flower as opposed to being burnt, deprived, and produced through eating its own leaves to make and ripen bud.
