You were made to pay for your public education?
Are you expected to just take it when somebody feels you up at work?
Were you only able to get a home loan in a certain neighborhood even though you wanted and could afford a house in a better neighborhood?
Do you pay a higher interest rate than others even though you meet the same qualifications as they do?
Do you get racist graffiti sprayed on your house?
Do you worry about the cops shooting your son when he goes out with the family car?
I'll challenge you that you don't really know why you didn't get that job. I'll also ask if you know that advantageous employment rates, job opportunities and pay inequity between white men and just about all other groups persists through recessions and good times. About 20% difference and we've only been tracking for 50 years.
It's too bad for you that you didn't do better with your white man privilege. If you thought you had it hard, you should look harder at what people who aren't white and male go through.
