I'll challenge you that you don't really know why you didn't get that job. I'll also ask if you know that advantageous employment rates, job opportunities and pay inequity between white men and just about all other groups persists through recessions and good times. About 20% difference and we've only been tracking for 50 years.

It's too bad for you that you didn't do better with your white man privilege. If you thought you had it hard, you should look harder at what people who aren't white and male go through.

Okay, I did the calculations on my life time earnings and applied the appropriate reparation tax rate, and I owe $438,000. I'm happy to pay it as I know I'll sleep better without white guilt. The question now is who to pay it to?

I know it is wrong to treat all black American's the same so I can't just divide the $438K by 37,144,530 and mail a penny to each black American, plus I don't have $18M for the postage. Fogdog, how did you pay your reparations fairly?

Reperation amount wouldn’t be hard to do..first you have to make certain applicant is truly from original colonies. You can do that through family history and DNA.

When I ASKED for my tender, the guy gave me 1/2 piece while others were receiving full pieces..you think I can write the difference off on my 1040? Should the depreciation be flat or sliding scale?

I'm not sure. I think if your white guilt is as bad as mine you might just let it go. But then again, you are female so you may not owe as much as me to begin with. Official guidelines are needed.
