While I'm on the subject of military budgets; ours is much more about lining the pockets of businessmen these days than it is about building world beating weapons. War is big business. The production of weapons, ammo and equipment helps with the economy. It sucks but its true. I do not condone it I am merely stating the situation.

And to a certain point that's okay. It's only good for the country if it produces good weapons and doesn't hamstring the country's ability to support its own citizens. Ours has failed to live up to either criteria.

Socialist asshole as in taking from those that have and giving it to every special interest group that comes along. Wait for national daycare (why should I pay). etc etc.

No summer job help if you do not agree with Liberal policies etc.

He is really good at kissing ass and apologizing though. Exceptional in fact

I think our taxation anger is like your gun control ;)

Just curious. How much of your national tax income goes to health care? Would you favor lower taxes by switching to our system?

I believe the majority of Canadians would never switch to lower taxes in favor of your system. My wife had brain cancer and probably received 600k to 1 million of health care over the 16 months.

IT cost me zero. Health care at a massive scale is cheap once you weed out the profiteers AND law suits.
I just believe your country should support your people. Other countries can get a hand out when you have fixed your situation (health care, homelessness, vets should all come before giving it away).

By your country i mean your own country. America can do what is good for American and Canada can do what is good for Canada (or insert country name here)

I think you would find 3/4 of Canadians feel the same way if not more.

I polled me and 5 of my friends and we buried the guy that didn't agree. So maybe 100%

I would also add our country is socialist in a fashion. Like free health care for all. In Canada taxation goes to 11% health care and 16% is support of the aged and 9% is repayment of debt. (8% is defense and 21% is who knows and the rest is minutia)

I was just wondering since you complained about socialism and taxes if you would do away with your socialist programs such as socialized delivery of health care services to reduce taxes?

Oh and that support for the aging. The only way an aged person in the US gains government support for senior care is if they have spent practically every penny they saved over their lifetime on their own care first. Practically all of the wealth of the aged in our population will be spent to pay for the high cost of senior care and not passed down to their kids. Is that what you want?

I just realized our concepts of socialism are very different. I like looking after health care etc but I should not have to give more to support immigration or fringe groups of people with their hands out because it is not their fault. That is the Liberal way up here. We will raise min wage until it impugns everyone and you should all pay more is the problem. We should bring in another 50,000 uneducated syrians (insert country in trouble here). That is our problem. We have no issue with paying globally for health care. We are weird eh. We feel the same about you. The good news is when I go on a USA trip to visit colleagues we have a lot to discuss. :D

I am close to the aged. I just think they should be better served than a 3% bump in pay when we immigrate so many because of their shit show at home. And that is why i hate the socialist asshole in charge. He loves the world stage and does not care about home.
