Good, thanks....I emailed Innovative and they told me I should get it within 7 days. I sure hope so. Thank you!A friend of mine submitted from innovative 10/17 and got an email from the state that his was out for printing on 1/5.
Well, I just called and got an actual live person finally, and even though they submitted my check to the bank and it cleared my account on January 3rd, they say they still haven't been notified that it cleared so they aren't processing my app yet and that once they get notified that the check cleared it'll be 30 days from that date before I get my card. I'd love to know where my $100 has been for the last 7 days that it hasn't been in my bank account but apparently the state of illinois doesn't think they have it either...so according to that person, I'm looking at mid February. I mailed all my paperwork in on 10/27 just for reference...
Hey Guys! My name is Meghan. I've been watching this thread for about a month, and decided to make an account. It really helps knowing that everyone here is, or has been in the same boat as me in terms of waiting for their cards.
Here's my timeline:
10/18/2017- Submitted my application through The Healing Clinic
12/02/2017- 45 day mark: Sent a Status Inquiry email to IDPH (robo-reply & actual reply saying my app had been received)
01/10/2018- 12 week mark. I sent another email to inquire if my application has been approved, and when I can expect my card.
It's rough. I was told upon submission that my card would come no later than 6 weeks. Between doctor appointments, fingerprinting, and application fees this whole process has set me back a little over 600$. I know it will be worth it in the long run for 3 years of MMJ, but It feels like all that money just got sucked up into a blackhole. I really hope they develop some sort of tracking system for these applications. I don't mind waiting, but not having any idea about what's going on made me crazy for the first couple months of this experience.
I went to Vegas in August. Walking into a dispensary and having free access to marijuana like that was amazing. Growing up, I never thought that I'd be able to do that legally. I hope IL becomes the first state in the midwest to legalize. Even Bill Nye the Science Guy is behind legalization
ThanksThis is the address: DPH . MedicalCannabis @ illinois . gov
(I added spaces because it would not let me post a link)
You get an auto-reply immediately, but I got a real response 2 days later.
Sent email and it kept coming back. Finally got it to go thru and not even an auto reply. Must be me. My luck sux! Thanks
It's not just your luck...anything to do with dealing with any illinois government agency is insanely complicated! Any the people that work there are always so incredibly friendly and helpfulSent email and it kept coming back. Finally got it to go thru and not even an auto reply. Must be me. My luck sux!
Well mine was received on 10/23/27 and I don't have mine yet, so you are most likely a month behind us from October. The wait sux. Good luck. Keep us updated and I will also,!Ok gang. Here is my current wait time below with today being sorta good cuz I actually got a response via email.
Mailed my form 11/21/17 along with a money order. My Dr mailed his portion a day or two later.
After 45 days from when I thought it was received (USPS) by IDPH I sent an email to only get the generic auto reply saying they can't respond to emails.
I then trying calling for several days to only get a standard message saying to try later.
1/10/18, I emailed them again asking for confirmation of receipt of my application.
Today, 1/11/18, I received a response.
Good day,
Your application was received on 11/27/2017; physician certification was received on 11/29/2017. Your application is currently pending processing. We have not gotten to your name on the list to start processing. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received.
Thank you for your patience.
Division of Medical Cannabis
I hope this helps others like myself still waiting.
And, no the Western Union money order hasn't been cashed yet.
I'll provide an update as soon as I know more.
Same here no emails no alerts stating people have been posting still!Hey everyone -- For some stupid reason, I did not realize people were still commenting. I was getting an email when anyone commented and have not gotten an email. I just want to say I know how frustrating it can be, wanting and wondering. I was lucky to get my card when I did, but want to encourage everyone else. The one key factor I note is that I have not actually heard of a denial. I have only heard how there were a few pieces missing, or something to be resubmitted and then the card is issued. I believe the holidays are a tough time with staffing, as I had an issue with Illinois government last month and realized it is Illinois Government and not to expect much. I guess that's it. Please be patient because it is well worth it when the card is in hand.
How did you hear that wonderful information? And you say “supposedly” which is not filling me with confidence. Ugh!Oh boy, I was just informed that the vendor the state uses for adult mm cards cannot print cards until Late January or early February. Supposedly they are sending out letters we can use to use at your designated dispensary until February 28th. The letters were sent out today.
Wish us all luck!
