And yet Jesse Ventura was a popular and well liked governor. Maybe hiring lawyers to be politicians isn't the best way to go about representing We the People, considering their track record.

He came in with high approval ratings but I recalled hearing Jesse wasn't appreciated at the end. He was pretty inept as governor, didn't get much done and the people didn't take kindly to his running up a deficit too.

From Trump to Ventura to Arnold, just because a person has no political background doesn't mean they will do any better. Jerry Brown has been pretty good for California. He's about as deep in time in office as anybody can be. Just look at the ineptitude of the tea party Republicans.

I don't think deep experience in politics should be a prerequisite but a business or celebrity background is a red flag to me and requires taking a second look at how well the candidate works with others.

Trump can only wish for 40% approval rating.

Sanders didn't win the primary. So like a little bitch. You did everything in your power to get Trump elected.

Maybe not stupid, just average intellect, unjustifiably overconfident, cynical, bad at economics and hopelessly lost in fake conspiracy theories. how about that?

I want changes but in a good way. I also want the next generation of leaders to step up and wash the old ones out. But I don't think that inexperience is an asset. Inexperience is not a disqualifier in to me, it's just not valuable.
