Well I guess I am the only one that doesn't get it. I don't think ANY judicial system is a good representation to make someone 'learn a lesson'
Life experience is where lessons are learned....just sayin'
i tried to rep you but i have to spread a little. i don't see it happening in this thread though. lol :weed:

Great example of a life lesson....and it didn't have to financially destroy him....lesson learned, no courts, no judges, no lawyers....It is possible.
so you quit without getting in trouble but he can't? i don't get it.

i quit drinking when i spun my honda on the freeway at 110 mph. spun around about 5 times across 4 lanes of traffic. i made my exit and only took out my fog lights. i haven't gone over 80 or drank behind the wheel since. :-P:clap:

Sometimes Extreme measures need to be taken in order for a lesson to be learned ...

Granted when the courts get involved they force a person to attend Counseling sessions and such and A.A meetings .. Where If your not caught you'll never do it on your own.. so the same problems will arise .. If you dont learn from your mistakes your bound to repeat them..

my instincts took over and controlled the spin. in my mind all i saw was my wife and son looking down on me shaking their heads. it stuck pretty good.

Obviously you guys don't understand the effect alcohol can have on certain people. If he was irresponsible enough to even get in the car when he was that drunk... Then it's doubtful he won't do something stupid like that again unless serious measures are taken. But I don't know the guy... I'm just stating what I believe.

I do understand the effects of alcohol, my mother died at the age of 58 because of alcoholism....
I don't think you understand what it is like to be tied up in a failing court system...not fun.
I KNOW people can learn from their mistakes without the interference of our failing government.

I did say certain people.... Like korvette said, once you get that alcohol buzz then all logical thinking is diminished... Maybe if gogrow is forced to sit through AA meetings, take public transportation for 2 years ..and pay up then it won't happen again. I saw it happen to my dad...He didn't learn until the cops got involved. I'm not saying that it's not possible for him to fix this himself.... Don't you realize that he could have killed someone?

I saw my dad get tied up in all of the lawful shit... and I didn't pity him one bit. Alcoholics make me sick.... Those are some people that surely deserve to get screwed over in the court system.
