Unpack it a little. Chicago is and has been Democratically controlled for some time. It has some of the strictest gun laws in the country. Citizens are murdering each other with firearms in record rates.

Almost 60 percent of the guns used to commit a crime in Chicago from 2009 to 2013 were first bought in the border states of Indiana and Wisconsin and in Mississippi, according to the Chicago Police Department. Those states do not require background checks for gun sales at shows or over the internet.

Maybe if those GOP/NRA controlled states got their shit together and stopped selling weapons to any asshole that shows up, Illinos wouldn't have such a problem..

Deep dish is so misunderstood. People debate whether it is better than thin crust. They are two different things. Chicago has hundreds of good thin crust pizza places.
