way coolIn case anyone missed Steven live with GML talking about the HLG vs HPS side-by-side they're doing.
It's using 480 diode boards.(these are still prototypes) Also 304s will be back in stock very soon.(next couple of weeks check website).Does that GML light have the QB304s in it or did i hear the boards were 400+?
What's the time on 60 x 304s? Everytime i look they're sold out...
*sorry that was for Stephen or Robin.
The PLC6 is a very good light. The difference in output is within 10% of each other. The HLG-550 uses around 120 watts less but isn't waterproof like the PLC-6. You won't go wrong with either one.
U no y thay have not put red on qb borad yet man lmk
.or y not used hi out put chip not mind out put chip i guss it wood bee hell hoter borad but come long fuckin over do red in the qb or just do ur think put sharp Spectrum chill supposed to be coming in at 4 with very cheap boards very cheap Ford's now that Mouse is there Mouse has the chance to put his mind to some work from what I've heard and he's going to put some boards out there very affordable

Is this the kit or does it come already assembled?
In HLG 65, Board plugs straight to power supply. just like a phone/laptop plugs to chargerIs this the kit or does it come already assembled?
So you're saying 10 of those plugged in to two 5 outlet power bars would give a guy incredible coverage and 650w of awesomeness in a 4'x4'?In HLG 65, Board plugs straight to power supply. just like a phone/laptop plugs to charger
As I've mentioned before I don't care who's a sponsor and who's not. This is what I love about rollitup. They go with what works not just with who's paying them. There's another forum who promoted the Mars brand and bigged it up like it was top notch but we all know Mars is cheap junk. Sponsor or no sponsor let's stay true to the hobby we love without letting money control our purchases and decisions.HLG over PLC based on customer service alone. The performance numbers don't have PLC in the same league as the HLG products either.
Why is it even a discussion here anyhow? HLG is a site sponsor, PLC isn't one.
Well it is kind of insulting to HLG as a site sponsor to be compared to another vendor that not only has inferior product but is known to be difficult to deal with.As I've mentioned before I don't care who's a sponsor and who's not. You said this same shit with your other sock account. Everyone knows its you dude. Its in all the PM's. 100 bucks says HLG is embarrassed your pulling this card.Well it is kind of insulting to HLG as a site sponsor to be compared to another vendor that not only has inferior product but is known to be difficult to deal with.
All I was pointing out.

Sorry I was just kidding. It is just easier to go with a bigger wattage lamp. Hanging 10 lamps wont be easy.So you're saying 10 of those plugged in to two 5 outlet power bars would give a guy incredible coverage and 650w of awesomeness in a 4'x4'?
Hey OP....I recommend that you read some of the rhetoric on this forum that has been generated by both companies in question and see which type of people you would want to deal with. Regardless of the differences between the two lights, there is a VAST difference in the attitude between the two company's representatives. I don't need to specify exactly what I'm referring to, here. Just have a look for yourself.
