DIY with Quantum Boards

I'm watching it and didn't see what that was. I'm not good at this shit lol
It is a coupling. It will allow you to "extend" the wires that go to the driver or from it. They are rated to prevent water from entering so they are best used inside the growing area (you may not need it). they are a way to prevent water from potentially causing a short circuit. If you have wire nuts or wagos in your tent area and not in a junction box; you can replace it with that coupling

My bad. Watched it and figured it out. I already fucked something up tho. Cut the bridge wire too short and went to pull the wire out and broke the tab off. Can I solder it back on or just jump it from another - to +

You can use the other tab to bridge the boards together. I am unsure if you can solder it back on, my guess would be that you can so long as you make a good connection

Here are a few quick shots. The light burn is very apparent and caused some feed issues on my White Widow as well.

This White is not a pheno I should have kept, it is very leafy and not all that resinous. Hopefully it will improve in the last couple weeks. It seems to be extremly Sativa dominant, she just started week 10 of flower and is still pushing pistils. She also nannered up some from the light stress I imagine but they are non viable.
(Notice the crazy polyploid mutation in the back right?)

The OG Kush (below) rig is using the Slate 5 heat sink and the boards are much closer together than with my custum rig, it shows as she was much hotter down the middle and outsides of the plant are much healthier, they look great actually.

Yes u can solder connector back on. Or just solder wire straight to where you would solder connector. Or flip the board and use connector non other side

Hey guys I’m hoping someone can help me figure out where I went wrong. Had two qb304 running in parallel on an hlg 240h-2100b. They have been working great for the last two weeks and yesterday while I was doing some work in the same room I heard a pop and then a few rows of the quantum boards died. I feel like this certainly has to be my mistake but I just can’t for the life of me figure out what I did wrong. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

unless your running C02 in a closed room, and I don't mean those stupid CO2 bags either...... your going to lose bud weight not gain it. In that size space, going over 600 watts is a waste of time without CO2. And 1200 watts of lighting???? This isn't like building a racing engine, MORE watts does not mean more bud!

So, is 8x QB304 running at ~900w overkill for a 5x5? if I upgrade a couple heatsinks I could push them up past 1200w and grow plants on Mars. :D

Contact HLG . Doesn't sound like your fault, sounds like a simple chip failure. it happens, nothings perfect.

Question on my DIY build --- So i have 4x 3500k quantum boards, 4x 4000k quantum boards along with 44 (20 far red and 24 photo red leds) I have 2HLG-480H-C2100A to power the quantums along with 4 Mean Well ELN-60-27P's. I also have the bluefish controller with 3 breakout boards. I am having a hard time figuring out how I can install all 6 of my drivers to work with the bluefish so that I can dim each channel independently from one another along with custom startup and die down settings etc....

Thanks in advance guys.

@WeedSexWeightsShakes

One of my 550s came with one of the connectors broken. It was VERY EASY to solder it back on. If you are at all DIY capable you will not have an issue.

Also HLG responded lightning fast and made sure everything was good to go in case I had any issues.
