Think i am going to start using it in my organics some what in very small doses, i just cant seem to correct this cal mag issue i keep having, hell my 5 clones that are 2 weeks into flower are starting to show the symptoms, this hi cal dolomite lime just isnt doing the trick and adding cal mag isnt either.
yes i have seen that at my local hydro store gonna grab some tomorrow and give it a try on next set of cloneshttps://www.walmart.com/ip/General-Hydroponics-FloraNova-Grow-Bloom-Quart/668794724?wmlspartner=wlpa&selectedSellerId=6554&adid=22222222222075336734&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=83975202632765&wl4=kwd-4587574829447838&wl12=668794724_10000006746&wl14=general hydroponics floranova&veh=sem

man, if you ask me about hydro or water soluble fert.I recently decided to give organic gardening a try. I switched for MG plant food and MG bloom to espoma organic tomato tone. I'm using Kellogg patio plus organic potting soil with 25% perlite added. will I need to add bone meal during flowering or does this plant food contain enough for flowering (NPK 3-4-6 ) I have Epsom salts if the plant needs more magnesium is this considered an organic nutrient?
I've used MG for years with good results but it seems very controversial among cannabis growers some have good success with it while others have serious problem using it. I just like trying out new things but like to try to keep things simple. I have only needed to add calcium and magnesium during test grows with LEDs but growing with T5s and HPS seem to be less critical on feeding requirements. never tried hydro but as a PU MMJ closet grower soil work fine and supplies my needsman, if you ask me about hydro or water soluble fert.
I could likely give you some great direction
but im very new to organic growing myself, im still following instructions, and not qualified (to my standards)to give instructions
i will throw my 2 cents for what its worth
ive heard good things about tomato tone
looking at the npk numbers i wouldn't think youd need additional bonemeal cuz the P at 4% is a good portion of the fertilizer ratio... but theres really no way for me to say for sure
if it was me id not add any bonemeal..., if you end up needing more P you can always use guano which is quick to respond
then next grow when you re-use the soil youll know more about what else you might want to amend with in regard to P
MG fert is terrible!!
Epsom salt might not technically be "organic" but its widely used for organic gardening, but honestly im not really sure... you might be able to buy Epsom salt that's been certified organic but not organic in the sense that it requires decomp to break down thru biology
Looks like a bit of light burn on older leaves that might not have been getting much light before. From the overall pics, it doesn't seem like enough to worry about.theres a few leaves here or there that look squirly
but there few and far between and might have already corrected themselves from the up pot
nice and chunkyHarvest day!!!!!!!View attachment 4004069
I will be recycling my soil from last grow as well this weekend, and got a final weight on my 1 plant i was shocked came in at 335gs never would have guessed i would get that much off that plant but those cola's in pics above weighed 85gs roughly dried lolso that soil was amended for the upcoming new seedlings/sprouts....
as for whats in flower...no additional progression of any type of def ...every thing looks great
