and you do realize this investigation was started on Obamas watch 1-10-2016
Oh yeah. In that Politico article I linked, they say the investigation started a year and a half ago. It only started to get attention and traction after Bernie was shown to be several multiples more popular than Trump. Days after a poll came out showing the disparity in popularity, I saw the attention by the media jump. In the Politico article, they point out that the investigation gained steam about the same time. To me, this means the FBI takes Trumps interests seriously. It doesn't mean the investigation against Bernie is serious. Against Jane? I only know what I read at it doesn't look good for her. Bernie is getting shit on himself from the over-spray.

I simply don't have enough information to say that Bernie is even being seriously investigated. But will say it looks bad. Any time a politician's spouse is implicated in fraud, of course it looks bad on the politician. Often for good reason. So, I'm OK with your conclusions. I just don't buy it yet myself.

Like I said. Bernie case too hard to prove.
Jane...that chick has some explaining to do. Bernie has some explaining to do for allowing his wife to take that 200k when she was the one fucking up. looks fucking bad.

BULLSHIT.
Bernie preaches against this very payout shit his wife took. How the fuck you get money for fucking up. Bernie should have told his wife to give that fucking money back and to make sure she swallows with the blow job she will be required to give him that night...and have breakfast ready in the morning
So, Bernie is a two timing skunk. Says one thing and does another. Oh no. He's a politician? Say it isn't so. By 2020, we'll know more and I can include this stuff into my decision regarding who I vote for. Until then, he's Vermont's Senator and I have no say in what he does whatsoever.

The golden parachute must have been in Jane's contract. I'm not defending it, just saying if the golden parachute was awarded by the College board, she was legally entitled to it. If Bernie were truly the saint that Bernie Believers say he is then Saint Bernard should have found a way to distance himself from that payoff. He's no saint, that's for sure. That said. The payoff was to his wife and it was part of her pay package.

If Bernie is guilty of interfering with the loan process he should burn. The investigation is under way and we'll know more when it concludes.

Did you read your own link? If you did, after you read Republican operative, were you not the least bit skeptical?

Brady Toensing, a Republican operative in the state who filed complaints asking for the FBI probe in early 2016, said Mrs. Sanders exaggerated the amount of pledged donations coming into the school in order to secure the loan and that Mr. Sanders‘ office pressured the bank to green-light the deal.

The explosive allegation that Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., pressured a bank to loan money to a college run by his wife come from a former bank employee with no direct knowledge of the loan.

Republican attorney Brady Toensing sent a letter in May 2016 saying he was approached and informed that Sanders “improperly pressured” People’s United Bank to loan money to Burlington College when the senator’s wife was the school’s president.

Toensing’s source for that information was House Minority Leader Don Turner, R-Milton, a revelation first reported by Seven Days on Friday.

Just kidding. I honestly can't believe you guys are still trolling this fucking nonsense.
They have nothing of substance. They're screaming in opposition to a politician who actually has their interests foremost in mind. They're as stupid as poor Republicans.

We agree then. I was thinking of what would happen if I told my wife she couldn't accept a $200k bonus that was legally hers through her job. I don't know how many nuts I'd have left after that. I can just imagine the temperature of the room dropping about 500 C if I said something like: Honey, you didn't earn it. Give it back. :finger:

I hope your wife wouldn't run a fucking college into the ground and expect cash afterwards ? I mean would you not be the one preaching about not doing this. You failed to do your job. Don't take the money. Fucking principals

No. My wife works and is responsible for herself. I'm no morality guru to her, nor her for me. I'm not going to take some patriarchal attitude toward her. She's a good person and makes her own decisions. We'd talk about it but the decision is hers regarding her compensation. If I felt the money was tainted then I'd say so and ask what she intends with it. Probably discuss how we can keep it out of our finances. But, no, I occupy no moral high ground to my wife. Realize this is all hypothetical, I just don't think it's a man's place to tell his wife how to manage her professional life. If I couldn't live with her choices then that would be part of the discussion too.

If your professional life goes against what I believe in ...we have a problem
My wife keeps me on the straight. I will do the same to her

yeah, it's not simple is it? I could have said I don't know. Instead you got a sample of the shit storm I call my brain.

Sorry about that.

I'll try to find a font that is too complicated for you to read and spare you the complexity.

Same here. We don't make enough to have moral dilemmas about golden parachutes.

We'll cross that bridge when we never get to it.

Well you two can get a pass because you're not out preaching against that type of shit. Now enjoy letting your wife know she can keep that 200k.
I "let" her keep what she earned or she "let's" me keep what I earn? Ahhhh, no. We have a different relationship than yours, I guess.

But thanks for giving me that pass. It warms my heart.

Would your wife allow you to keep money you made from the sell of crack ?
