For the record...the intelligence suggests that NK have up to as many as 60 warheads capable of being fitted to their ICBM's, alot of outlets are making it seem as if they might only have 1.

And Trump seems to just keep adding more gas to the fire AND Trump's statements also back up the NK regime's story that they are a nation under siege.

I just preferred NK when they didn't have nuclear missiles capable of hitting the heart of our country, ok?

Tillerson actually did a fairly good job of trying to ratchet down the rhetoric while enroute to Guam. Of course Trump has now undercut those comments. Tillerson is a self-enriching shithead, but in a way, I hope he stays put for now. His replacement would probably be worse. Everyone who answers to that orange retard must eventually want to hate fuck the shit out of him.

I was reading that Tillerson isn't actually a fan of Trump at all, lots of coup whispers surrounding Republicans...imagine they primary'd the incumbent president...SAD!! Lol.

Lots of "Conservatives" starting to realize Trumps is the exact opposite of conservative (lower case c).

Exxon supplies Oil to China, China to N.Korea.
Corp law dictates he remains loyal to his stockholders. (ingrained behavior) so he wants to keep the oil flowing. N.Korea has recently stumbled upon oil deposits off shore, My guess is he will talk China into quietly overthrowing "cough, cough" Kim with our help.

I'm all ears. What would you have the United States do about North Korea's nuclear capability?
we need to let the UN sanctions have a chance, but publicly threatening like a little bitch is not presidential, but then...

I do think is controlled as BS was before him to do things they did not want to do

Intriguing! I knew there were massive deposits in Russia he's trying desperately to get Exxon's hands on if not for those bad, bad sanctions (how is he even allowed to be in this position?), but I didn't know about the Exxon -> China -> NK flow. Thanks for the info! I like your guess!

US President Donald Trump says North Korea "will be met with fire and fury" if it threatens the US.

His comments came after a Washington Post report, citing US intelligence officials,

said Pyongyang had produced a nuclear warhead small enough to fit inside its missiles.

This would mean the North is developing nuclear weapons capable of striking

the US at a much faster rate than expected.

The UN recently approved further economic sanctions against the country.

The Security Council unanimously agreed to ban North Korean exports and

limit investments, prompting fury from North Korea and a vow to make the "US pay a price".

The heated rhetoric between the two leaders intensified after Pyongyang tested

two intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM) in July, claiming it now had the ability to hit the US.

Mr Trump told reporters on Tuesday: "North Korea best not make any more threats to the US.

They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen."

Analysis: Words with consequences?
Anthony Zurcher, BBC News, Washington:
Donald Trump said that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "has been very threatful,
'beyond a normal state". So he responded with language that goes well beyond
a normal statement for any US president.

Perhaps Mr Trump believes that no hyperbolic threats should go unmatched or that
apocalyptic warnings are the only ones the North Korean leadership will understand.
Perhaps he - intentionally or not - is pursuing a Nixonian "madman" style foreign policy,
where adversaries will tread lightly to avoid triggering the wrath
of an unpredictable US commander-in-chief.

When the leader of the world's greatest superpower, the only nation ever to have used
nuclear weapons on an enemy, talks of unprecedented "fire and fury",
however, those words have consequences.

During his presidential campaign Mr Trump criticised his predecessor Barack Obama
for not enforcing a red line against Syria's use of chemical weapons.
Now President Trump has drawn a fiery bright line of his own with North Korea -
one that could commit the US to a perilous course of action if his words go unheeded.

The Washington Post quoted an intelligence community report as saying it

"assesses North Korea has produced nuclear weapons for ballistic missile delivery,

to include delivery by ICBM-class missiles".

It has previously been thought that the North was still years away from being able to

fire a nuclear weapon, although it has long carried out separate nuclear tests and missile launches.

North Korea said on Monday, two days after the UN sanctions were passed, that it would continue

with its nuclear weapons programme.

The state-run KCNA news agency said Pyongyang would "not put our self-defensive

nuclear deterrent on the negotiating table" while it faces threats from the US.

It threatened to make the US "pay the price for its crime... thousands of times,"

referring to America's role in drafting the UN sanctions resolution.

Have you ever seen a less impressive speaker than Trump? He read the words so poorly and without conviction while holding the most comical body language ever. I am sure he thought his words would resound into history but to me it just looked like some horrible Dukakis moment that we are going to see again and again in the 2020 election.

He's a hack. Anybody who gets inspiration from him is a rube.

Not to change the subject but what is going on with Putin's pectoral muscles? The whole time he is on vacation he seems to be flexing them. But it really looks more like he is using one of those "lazy man exercize" rigs that jolts the muscles with electric shocks.

He's not a hack; that would imply that Chump's at least trying. He's merely a dilettante, playing at the role, clearly not caring if he's believed or not. 70 years old and he'll never grow up.

Putin is carefully cultivating a strongman image. Such shirtless displays telegraph his strength and power to those without the education to know better. It's part of his mystique...
