I'm betting he meant 167w per board for 500 total. Still 1 board, no heat sink at 167w and only 47C...that's impressive.500W total or 500W per board?

If the roof section (that the eye bolts are in) had perforation/slots in it natural convection would work pretty good. Get sucked in through the sides and exit through the top. The way it's built now it just looks like a passive way for heat to escape without much worry about airflow or temps. Which is probably perfectly fine considering the temps the boards run at.Is the housing model for 1 board or the 3 in series you mentioned?
Looks like it was designed with convection currents in mind for passive.
well if they are 12x12" as he originally mentioned it sounds right on par with the other boards. that would be like a QB at 75WI'm betting he meant 167w per board for 500 total. Still 1 board, no heat sink at 167w and only 47C...that's impressive.
id like to see some slots up top for natural convection and optional fan. some of the smaller fans use just a few watts and the temp drop and efficacy they create justifies their existenceIf the roof section (that the eye bolts are in) had perforation/slots in it natural convection would work pretty good. no 496 watts total for 3 boards, so about 165 watts per board500W total or 500W per board?
yes the housing is a single board, totally convectedIs the housing model for 1 board or the 3 in series you mentioned?

yes but blue eyes, blonde hair and you would be happy to wake up next to herIf the Sol-Skin and QB's were hookers, the Sol-Skin would look quite similar but have a few extra perks...like teeth and maybe both eyes.
yes thats a good assessment, with a heatsink these will generate very little heat and will rely on room fans to move air acrossIf the roof section (that the eye bolts are in) had perforation/slots in it natural convection would work pretty good. And as Mark said earlier, tests still take about a week. So they should be available soon!

Heat management is awesome!
Thumbs up, Mark and congratulations to this awesome product!
Unfortunately, something too late for me!
24 H-Series strips are already here and are waiting to be processed...hahaha.!
yes I know, my apologies, testing with various driver options, thermals, data production, its all taking a bit longer than I had hoped. I am hoping to have first products up todayExactly what I mean.
He indeed said a week, 2 weeks ago.
BE STRONGI need an update of some sort or I'm not going to make it through the weekend.
