Your point is well taken and if fact if you read my data on http://www.cutter.com.au/products.php?cat=Sol-Skin we call that SRM(Spectral Ratio Mix)in other words we could do an XQE Channel with a ratio of Royal Blue/660 or any colour in the XQE footprint ie 5:1 660/450 etc. The alternate model we considered when designing the XQE channel was that the new XD16 led from Cree in the 264 lumens/mm will fit this footprint and we could then run a 5630 channel in deep red and super hi efficient white XD16 on the XQE channel, lots of options. Your right 45V of Far red is too much so would make sense to slot a 6 up XPE 280mm XPE Far Red between each Sol skin on a 4th channel for the complete spectral pictureI think the 3rd channel of 45 volts is to much photo red (660nm) when i look at your spectrum half would be enough . So if you split that to 2 channels that would be cool and then you can have the second half for blue or something.
I dont think you need a 45v channel for far red (730mm) not even half of it just 3-5 % of the effect of the whole board. far red in the board would be nice since when you add it outside if you use a board like the one you sell with 3 leds on it it will end up on the side and dont get a even spread. if you use single leds you put them around the panel and you need a few and have to modify your mountings for it.... all in one would be great what would you need 4-8 cree xpe in there to get 3-5 %?
Cheers
